You have five different choices of Zen styles music programs. You can tailor Zen styles music programs to suit your individual needs. Tempo, volume and pitch can be adjusted by your hearing care professional, giving you total control over the way you listen.
Widex hearing aids are renowned for the quality of their sound. Central to this is the TruSound compression system. The Widex philosophy is that soft sounds (such as dripping water) must be audible but remain soft in character; normal speech (such as face-to-face conversation) must be audible and intelligible; and loud sounds (such as a crowd) should be heard but not uncomfortable to listen to. TruSound aims to ensure that changing between such sound environments is made as smooth and fast as possible. This helps give you sounds that are not only more detailed, but are natural and clear.
Widex aims to make even soft sounds audible to the user. Not only soft speech sounds but also sounds that open the senses to the surroundings, such as the sound of a bottle being opened or a glass of wine being poured. Mmind440 aims for maximum intelligibility of speech. Just as car noise can make it difficult to hear a car stereo, other low frequency sounds can disturb speech at higher frequencies. This is illustrated here, where low frequency noise (in red) partly masks the speech area (in white). mind440 has a noise reduction system, speech enhancement, clever gain setting and a directional microphone system. As sounds get loud, a hearing aid needs to control its output to maintain good sound quality and prevent unnecessary distortion. With mind440 even very loud sounds are kept free of the distortion area due to the TruSound Automatic Output Control. The noise reduction system and directional microphone also help to maintain high sound quality in noisy situations by lowering the level of the noise.
It can often be difficult remembering how to change settings or programs in your hearing aid. With SmartSpeak, we take the guesswork out of controlling your hearing aid. Easy to use, simple to hear A wide variety of languages can be programmed by your hearing care professional. If you want, your mind440 can be set to produce tones instead.
SmartSpeak uses actual recorded speech to tell you of mind440 functions such as low battery power and program mode. For example, when your battery is running low, SmartSpeak will warn you. And if you switch to the Zen program, SmartSpeak will tell you. These clear, verbal messages come in a wide variety of languages, making it much easier for you to adjust programs and settings. You can choose between male and female speech.
